It wasn’t an easy road to where I am at today. There was a lot of trial and error along the way, but in the end, I can say that I am living my perfect day. I get to spend time with my family, I get “ME” time, I get to exercise 5-6 days a week, I mentor others, and my business is growing. My time is flexible, and I am in charge of how my day is run.

Growing up in Russia, I never knew who I wanted to be, but I knew I had a purpose and that purpose was not working a 9-5 job. I knew I wanted to help people become a better version of themselves, but at that time I was unsure how. When I was 19 I left everything behind and moved to New Zealand. Even though I was starting from the scratch and only spoke a language (Russian) that didn’t match the country I now found myself in, I didn’t let it stop me.

When I first arrived, I worked as a kitchen hand washing dishes and as a waitress until I learned enough English to further my skill and ultimate success in New Zealand. Moving through sales positions, Administrative work, management, bookkeeping, accounting, and financial controlling jobs. These are what taught me that I not only understand numbers, but love finance and sales.

I took my drive to get out of the 9-5-work life and started my first business at age 21. I created a mobile nail technician business, which operated outside of normal “office hours”, to best serve my customers and fit around my day job (managing two Retail stores). After a few years of years of running my own business and managing the retail stores, I felt I learned all that I could from my business. While I had grown from the experience, it was time for me to take a break from “burning the candle at both ends”. It was then I accepted a Managing position with a company that supplied Kebab shops with pre-made food. It wasn’t long in this position until I saw an opportunity for myself. In 2007 I started my second business, which supplied Halal chicken to cafes and restaurants. After two years I was able to sell my business. Right away I used that profit to start my third business, which was selling and supplying water bottles to supermarkets. I have created a company in partnership with three of New Zealand’s Rugby players. Again, after one year of operation, I was able to sell my share of the business.

After the sale of my second business, I felt should focus on strengthening my business and numbers skills, and started working for an investment company in their accounts department. After some time, I found myself working in a bookkeeping company, which handled financial controlling for small and medium businesses. I eventually became an associate within that company.

It wasn’t until 2013, and later after the birth of my child in 2015 did I enter the world of CrossFit. Starting off as a CrossFit coaching, coaching Bootcamps, I quickly discovered my passion for and opportunities in CrossFit. I didn’t waste time, in 2013 my husband and I opened our first CrossFit Gym, called WOF CrossFit. Growing slowly at first, I used all the experience and skills I acquired in my past to make WOF CrossFit successful. As we were growing our gym, and meeting the needs of our members I saw a gap in services offered to those who wanted to not only work out but eat healthy as well. This inspired me to create My Meal Box, which was a macro nutrient-based prep-made meals service, that did home delivers to those in the area. While they were two separate business, I found them to be businesses that worked closely with one another. Three years later (2016) I not only expanded the facility (physically and financially) we also created an additional business out of it. My husband & I purchased my competitors CrossFit gym as well in partnership with another couple. These changes officially made me a business owner of three companies! A year later I sold My Meal Box and the second CrossFit gym in order to focus my efforts on being a mentor to others within Two Brain Business.

As you can see I have a strong history of business ownership and it has taught me a lot about myself. I love setting up goals and achieving them.I love to start a business, growing it to its potential, then selling it off (for a profit, of course). My ultimate goal would be to invest in startup companies, and help them grow. This is why I am passionate about mentoring others.

As a mentor, this is what I can say you will get from me:

I am very direct and I don’t sugarcoat anything.

I am a results-driven person and it keeps me going. This applies to my clients as well, I will help you to tick those boxes and celebrate your successes with you.

My personal goal is to become a better leader for my teams. I have made mistakes over the last six years running businesses, but my mistakes will be your rewards. Just like all the best mentors I have learned from them, value them and use them to guide you to be better and do better.

I learned that everything is possible as long as you follow your dreams and keep your sights set on your perfect day.
